Holiday Photo Success

Oh it is that time of year...the one when we try to capture the "perfect" photo for the holiday greeting card. The last several years, we've managed to accomplish this at home on our own due to the wonderful invention of the digital camera (and our willingness to act like complete idiots in an effort to get Olivia to smile). After about 87 shots, we eventually luck our way into a photo that perfectly captures Olivia's charming little personality and her open eyes.

This year, with the addition of Gavin to the mix, we decided to turn the job over to professionals. I do not have the skill or, more importantly, the patience to go the "do-it-yourself" route this year. Not to mention that Gavin can barely hold his head up on his own...makes taking a picture a little hard.

Well we were quite pleased with the results thanks to our friends at Portrait Innovations. Seriously, these guys are GREAT...try them out if you have small children. I'll leave the chosen photo for you to enjoy when it reaches your mailbox, but below is a sampling of the other ones we liked. Pretty good for an 8:30 am appointment!
